Born out of a personal odyssey of transformation the inception of the re/org emerged from sheer necessity.
I've spent two decades as a seasoned television executive and producer; and then found myself facing a poignant duality; residing on one coast while caring for aging and sick parents across the continent. It became clear quickly as I was confronted with the overwhelming task of decluttering not just my own mid-life's worth of belongings prior to several necessary relocations but also those of my soon to be late parents. It's the lower hanging fruit; the unidentified treasures and that may have gone unrecorded in any formal estate planning that becomes the issue. Its the years of photographs, awards, personal mementos, letters, writings and works.
After an almost decade-long painful edit through both of their lifetimes; the re/org was born.
From helping friends and family organize their own spaces so that they can feel good about owning highly curated, well-appointed collections and organizational systems that are maintainable.
The re/org was founded on the hope that we can inspire breaking the cycle of leaving lifetimes' worth of stuff for other people to have to deal with. Too many times it forces us to inherit more generational stuff (and extended grief).
Life is unpredictable; and we will always say tomorrow, but odds are if you wait until 60+ it never gets done. People feel uncomfortable talking about death but we want to normalize these discussions while we're living our best life, (midlife) when we are healthy, vibrant and vital and can create an intentional legacy and generational wellness.
We are here to help you find the calm in all the chaos.
